(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) Kentucky is famous for more than just fried chicken and fast horses. They also make the world's best bourbon and some pretty fast cars. In southwestern Kentucky at Bowling Green, Chevrolet builds an American Icon, the Corvette. Right nearby the factory you will find the Corvette Museum. There they have on display a complete history and collection of some pretty famous and highly valued cars. People come from all over just to see them up close, while others have their cars built to their specifications at the factory. Then they come to the museum for a special delivery ceremony and drive their brand new Corvette home. Although I saw many that I would have loved to drive home, this one was my favorite color but I thought it was ... 2 Blue.

About Mel Steinhauer
My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home. A family of my own and a new career put that dream on hold for many years, but I had always enjoyed photography as an art form. Then, after surviving another kind of war with cancer back in 1997, I began to really see the beauty in our world.
