Artist's Description

(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) Oregon has over 300 miles of coastline with a variety of beautiful scenery. It doesn't matter if you are going north or south along the winding Pacific Coast Highway, you will surely enjoy the views. Wide sandy beaches, similar but ever-changing rock formations, with clouds and shoreline mist will often appear to be surreal. The many lookout points from Pacific Highway 101 provide ample opportunities to stop for a better look. Like this awesome view of a distant Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach from nearby Ecola State Park along Oregon's wonderful ... Coast Of Dreams.

I created this image from my original photograph taken on location by adding digital enhancements, textures or other effects. These effects and image details will become more visible by clicking inside the green magnifier square as the cursor is placed over the image.

Ever since then I have been inspired with a new awareness of life and an improved photographic vision. This has compelled me to find beautiful scenes wherever I go and to share my favorite creations with others who may not have the time or...
