Cobblestone streets, stone walls, gates, fortifications and the French culture all add up to a great experience. Most buildings were constructed in the early 19th century while many others date back to the 18th and 17th centuries. Today they are filled with shops, restaurants, bars, inns and hotels for tourists who come by the thousands all year long. Besides the great views of the St. Lawrence River from the boardwalk high atop Cap Diamant near Le Chateau Frontenac, there is so much to see, do and enjoy. My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home.
