Artist's Description

(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) Covered bridges always take me on a trip back in time. I recently found this great piece of Americana near the border of West Virginia and Virginia, at exit 10 just off Interstate 64. It was built in 1857 of hand-hewn timbers with a 100 foot span over Dunlap Creek just west of Covington. Ever since then I have been inspired with a new awareness of life and an improved photographic vision. This has compelled me to find beautiful scenes wherever I go and to share my favorite creations with others who may not have the time or...
