Description
(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) At the 2006 Cincinnati Tall Stacks event, the Mississippi Queen and many other old riverboats came to town. But at 382 feet in length, she was the largest of them all. Lucky passengers unkowingly became part of a now sadly disappearing history, as The Queen rolled up and down the Ohio River. As one of these passengers, I awoke to see the sun shining brightly on this grand old riverboat and wondered about her future. Even the wild geese realized the significance of what was happening and came down to admire the magnificent beauty of the ... Mississippi Queen.
