Every year is somewhat different than the last, as the most colorful time is often difficult to predict. I am no expert by far, however I guess it depends on the amount of rain, sunlight, wind or other conditions. I enjoyed my leisurely walk and was amazed at what I discovered at the Boone County Arboretum in Northern Kentucky. On the right side of this scene before me, the trees and shrubs were still mostly green as they are in the spring or summer; while on my left I saw the bright colors of yellow, gold and orange. My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home.
