There is so much beauty in nature to be found, however it is not always as easy as some of us may think it is. Although I do usually awake pretty early, I still enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee as I plan a day out with my camera. One morning, my plan was to capture some interesting photos of a nearby small fishing fleet while docked in a calm harbor. However, life happens as you plan things and when I arrived, the boats were already gone out for the Catch Of The Day. So, all that was left for me was this peacefully quiet and empty...Pensacola Panhandle Pier.

My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home. A family of my own and a new career put that dream on hold for many years, but I had always enjoyed photography as an art form.
