Artist's Description

(Copyright Mel Steinhauer All Rights Reserved) Cape Island boats were once a popular work-horse of the Nova Scotia shoreline fishing fleet. I found this one in a small village at Peggys Cove, not far from Halifax. Fishermen often used this style of boat to catch lobster, tuna, scallops and any type of fish that swam close to shore. That is why this Cape Island boat carries the name of ... Providence.

Ever since then I have been inspired with a new awareness of life and an improved photographic vision. This has compelled me to find beautiful scenes wherever I go and to share my favorite creations with others who may not have the time or...
