With over 1.2 million visitors each year, it has been rated as one of the best zoos in the country. In an area known as Tiger Canyon, you will find the exhibit of several beautiful Malayan Tigers. Of course they have their freedom out in the wild, but to survive they must be ever vigilant and become fierce predators. At least in the peaceful surroundings of a zoo, they can relax enough to enjoy one another's company. Who knows but when everyone isn't looking they may even share a little ... Tiger Love.

My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home. A family of my own and a new career put that dream on hold for many years, but I had always enjoyed photography as an art form. Then, after surviving another kind of war with cancer back in 1997, I began to really see the beauty in our world.
