Artist's Description
(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) Just about 25 miles southwest of Cincinnati, you will find another historic town situated on the Ohio River. Although early settlers founded many towns all along the river and some have several things in common, each one seems to have their own unique and charming characteristics. Some say this town that began in 1814, took it's name from a ferry boat and others say it came from the way the sun appeared each morning over the nearby hills of Kentucky. Here, the colorful and lively downtown area is full of shops, art galleries, restaurants and even a place that still makes harps. So be sure and bring your sunglasses when you come to visit the beautiful and bright ... Town Of The Rising Sun.

Ever since then I have been inspired with a new awareness of life and an improved photographic vision. This has compelled me to find beautiful scenes wherever I go and to share my favorite creations with others who may not have the time or...
