Beneath the lush green pastures of this region, a limestone shelf naturally purifies the water which is a very important ingredient in the making of the world's best bourbons. A small stream from an underground spring, conveniently flows near the Master Distiller's House and other buildings. Free tours are very interesting, scenic and they even give free samples. My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home.
