(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) Going west from Cincinnati along the Ohio River will take you on a trip back in time to several small, historic river towns in Indiana. They all once played an important role to our country's growing population and development. Although many of these towns have grown and prospered along with our changing times, they have managed to keep their original charm and character. My favorite thing about small towns is that they are small, so you can easily walk around several blocks to see some history, nostalgia and Americana at it's best. About Mel Steinhauer
My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home. A family of my own and a new career put that dream on hold for many years, but I had always enjoyed photography as an art form.
