It's a colorful and neat little town full of shops, restaurants and history. This small sailboat is an exact reproduction of working shad boats used over 100 years ago. The cottage-style Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse is also a recent reproduction of the original one that marked the entrance to the Croatan Sound. My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father.
