Down steep cliffs towards blue waters, through private gates into colorful courtyards and even up towards a blue sky with only a few wispy clouds. Greek Orthodox churches can be found everywhere. Some have brightly painted domes and others have bell towers. This solitary tower still faithfully supports the cross and heavy old bell in spite of the large cracks. My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home.
