Artist's Description
(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) In 2003 the Cincinnati Reds began playing in a brand new stadium. Unlike the old Riverfront Stadium that was an enclosed circle, this one has a wide open space in center field facing the Ohio River. A local insurance company called it the Great American Ballpark and later built the city's tallest building right behind it which they also named the Great American Tower. These are perfect names for two icons in an All American City like Cincinnati. This new home for America's first professional major league baseball team has become very popular with the locals and tourists from all over. The new stadium is especially attractive from the Kentucky side of the river, as the sun sinks slowly in the west and casts a golden glow on the city. Even better when the boys of summer return home from a long road trip to play ... An Evening Game.

Ever since then I have been inspired with a new awareness of life and an improved photographic vision. This has compelled me to find beautiful scenes wherever I go and to share my favorite creations with others who may not have the time or...
