Product Details

Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) Parke County in western Indiana claims to be the " Covered Bridge Capitol of the World " with 32 structures like this still standing. Although some are now closed to vehicles, many are still used to cross small streams and creeks commonly found in farm country. Built when horse and buggies were still a form of transportation, the barn-like appearance did not frighten the horses and the roof provided shelter from sudden storms. Near the small town of Rockville, at the historic village of Billie Creek, I found the ... Beeson Covered Bridge.

My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home. A family of my own and a new career put that dream on hold for many years, but I had always enjoyed photography as an art form. Then, after surviving another kind of war with cancer back in 1997, I began to really see the beauty in our world. Ever since then I have been inspired with a new awareness of life and an improved photographic vision.
