(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) On a recent journey to the beautiful old walled city of Quebec, I traveled along Canada's oldest roadway. Ever since 1737 it has linked the major cities of Montreal, Trois Rivieres and Quebec. Along the way it passes through quaint small towns and rural areas. This road is very well known today as the Chemin du Roy, or The King's Road. Somewhere I discovered a small road that crossed over the Aux Brochets River to the town of Notre Dame de Stanbridge. Although this structure was built in 1884, it is still in use today and I discovered a ... Covered Bridge in Canada.
