(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) At the very tip of Northern Kentucky, the states of Ohio and Indiana join together to form what we call the Tri-State Area. The Ohio River is the natural boundary as it flows in a south-westerly direction towards the great Mississippi River. Just across the river from Cincinnati with it's own unique skyline, only in recent years buildings on the south bank began to get taller and taller. On a beautiful day with blue sky and white clouds I really enjoyed the modern architecture of these relatively new buildings and the way in which they complimented the historic Roebling Suspension Bridge. But of course you have to cross the river to the north side in Cincinnati, to see this beautiful view of the ... Covington Kentucky Skyline.

About Mel Steinhauer
My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home. A family of my own and a new career put that dream on hold for many years, but I had always enjoyed photography as an art form. Then, after surviving another kind of war with cancer back in 1997, I began to really see the beauty in our world.
