Many cruise ships will take you to our 49th state, however the season only lasts from May to September. This was my fourth cruise to the Last Frontier and once again we sailed with Princess Cruise Lines. As this cruise was on the Crown Princess, round-trip from Seattle, getting there and back home again was quite easy. Their ships have a beautiful covered outside lower deck on which you can walk completely around the entire ship. When the weather is nice like it was on this day, out on the deck is where I spend a lot of my time. Here I can breathe the fresh sea air, listen to the sounds of the ocean and enjoy views way off to a distant horizon. It is so easy to relax and enjoy life when you are ... Just Cruising.

My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home.
