The ocean surely brings almost everything to the people living here, in more ways than one. From May to September, huge cruise ships bring thousands of tourists to the coastal cities every week. Then of course the ocean also provides a bountiful harvest of seafood, as well as the many cargo ships which bring food and other essentials. This colorful coastal city proudly boasts that it is not only just Alaska's First City, but also stakes a claim to being The Salmon Capitol Of The World. As I walked about town there was so much to see that I quickly forgot all about the time, until I saw a ... Ketchikan Klock.

My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home. A family of my own and a new career put that dream on hold for many years, but I had always enjoyed photography as an art form.
