(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) Unfortunately, I and others in my family do not know the history of this old brass bugle. I do know that it once belonged to my grandfather who was born way back in 1890. My father kept it for many years and then it came to me after he passed on. There are no markings on it at all, so I am unable to identify it as an authentic historic artifact. However, I do believe it looks very nice as just an...Old Bugle On Stars and Stripes.
I created this image from my original photograph taken in my small home studio by adding digital enhancements, textures and painterly style effects. These effects and image details will become more visible by clicking inside the green magnifier square as the cursor is placed over the image.
