Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) There are many sights to see in Venice, Italy. It's a beautiful city, built hundreds of years ago in a lagoon. Although boats are a primary form of transportion to navigate the many canals, there are narrow streets for slow walks to take it all in up close. You may linger in the many shops, trattorias and markets, as you stroll from one small plaza to the next one. Don't forget to occasionally look upwards, just a floor level above. You will see many colorful flower boxes and windows with shutters. Like these two, with shutters that are ... Open Or Closed.

I created this image from my original photograph taken on location by adding digital enhancements, textures or other effects. These effects and image details will become more visible by clicking inside the green magnifier square as the cursor is placed over the image.

My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home. A family of my own and a new career put that dream on hold for many years, but I had always enjoyed photography as an art form. Then, after surviving another kind of war with cancer back in 1997, I began to really see the beauty in our world. Ever since then I have been inspired with a new awareness of life and an improved photographic vision.
