Every year is somewhat different than the last, as the most colorful time is often difficult to predict. I am no expert by far, however I guess it depends on the amount of rain, sunlight, wind or other conditions. I was amazed at what I discovered at the Devou Park, high atop a hill in Covington Kentucky. Almost each day, the colors change somewhat and even intensify in only a week or several days. My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home.
