Cincinnati quickly became a major inland port city and steam powered paddlewheel boats were a vital link to major cities in the east as well as developing cities in the west. In 1979 Ben Bernstein and Betty Blake created the B&B Riverboat Company to keep that proud history alive. Still today these boats carry tourists and local residents on sightseeing, lunch or dinner cruises. They are also available for special events and private charters. Filled with history, nostalgia, charm, good food and hospitality, a cruise on the Ohio River is very enjoyable. My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home.
