Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) The Old World cities of Europe are truly great places to see and experience. There are so many things to enjoy such as the history, architecture, museums, culture and of course, the variety of delicious food. Although these beautiful cities have several modes of economical and efficient transportation to help you get from one landmark to another, quite often the best way to explore is by walking. Especially in the historic and original sections of the city, which are frequently known as the " Old Town ". One day while walking in the colorful Old Town Of Lyon, in southern France on the Rhone River, I quickly developed an appetite for some French cuisine. So here I stopped when I saw this sign announcing the colorful sidewalk cafe's "Plate Of The Day ". Although I am only familiar with a small percentage of the French language, I decided to enjoy... The Daily Special.

About Mel Steinhauer
My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home. A family of my own and a new career put that dream on hold for many years, but I had always enjoyed photography as an art form. Then, after surviving another kind of war with cancer back in 1997, I began to really see the beauty in our world.
