(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) Cincinnati businessman Henry Probasco donated this beautiful fountain in 1871, to honor his deceased partner Tyler Davidson. He went to Munich to the famous Royal Bronze Foundry of Bavaria and met with Ferdinand von Miller where it was cast from salvaged Danish cannons. Sculptor August von Kreling designed it to celebrate the many uses and pleasures of water.
